Susan Whitt

PA-C

Susan is a nationally board certified and state of Ohio certified physician assistant who has been in practice since 1997. She worked as a surgical first assist for an oral and maxillofacial surgeon specializing in facial trauma and surgeries. Her surgeon taught and preempted the Ohio State University residents and fellows in these techniques and she first assisted these surgeries as well. She worked with a level 1 trauma team at Grant Hospital before returning to study for her physician assistant degree.

She worked in the ER for several years after graduating and then joined her husband in his internal medicine practice. The practice focuses partly on skin assessments and wound care. This led to her interest in facial cosmetics. Together with two other physician assistants in the practice, who also had derm backgrounds the FaceBar came into being.

Susan is a graduate of The Ohio State University and Nova Southeastern University in Ft Lauderdale, Florida.

Susan is a member of the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine, The Ohio Academy of Physician Assistants, and the National Academy of Physician Assistants.

Susan received her advanced training under Susan Weinkle, MD. She is board certified in Dermatology. She graduated from the University of Florida and Completed her residency at Stanford. She studied under the world renowned Dr Mohs. She has been awarded the prestigious Rose Hirschler Award and the Legacy Award. She has been voted one of the countries “Best Doctors” for the past 17 years. She received the President’s award four times from three ASDS and twice from the WDS. She won the ASDS Stedman Award in 2017. She teaches and lectures all over the world.

Susan also trained under Dr. Sachin M. Shridharani, a renowned, Manhattan based board certified plastic surgeon and the founder of Luxurgery. He co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed articles, textbook chapters, and abstracts on topics of cosmetic and reconstructive readers surgery. He has presented his work at esteemed conferences nationally and I internationally. He developed his signature “”Surgery in a Syringe”. He has trained thousands of practitioners with his injection techniques to optimize safety and patient outcomes.

Dr. Shridharani completed his training at Johns Hopkins Hospital and then went on to train at the esteemed Manhattan Eye Ear and Throat Hospital.
