WOUND CARE

Diley Medical Group offers specialized wound care services for patients with hard-to-heal wounds including but not limited to postsurgical wounds, venous disease, diabetic ulcers, pressure ulcers and infections. In addition, most skin issues can be addressed with our wound care provider.

We will evaluate and treat each wound, focusing on identifying the underlying cause when needed. Addressing the underlying issue of the wound will better the outcome for the patient. Treatment options for a wound will vary depending on a few factors, such as the location of the wound and the type of wound. Some wounds may require debridement, which is the removal of weakened or dead tissue. Regardless of wound type, we walk every patient through all treatment options and provide extensive education for optimum healing.

Diley Medical Group offers wound care services in office at our weekly clinic and also traveling services to senior living facilities. As always, our goal is to provide excellent medical care at every stage, where the patient needs us and with dignity and respect.
